Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds surprised fans with a rooftop performance at Brightonâs iconic independent record shop, Resident Records. The impromptu set drew crowds in the North Laine area, just hours before the band’s headline show at Preston Park.
Opening with “Train Long Suffering” from The Firstborn Is Dead, the band delighted fans with a rare performance of the track, not heard in Brighton since 1985. Nick Cave’s energetic address to the audience added to the excitement of the moment.
The set continued with a unique piano rendition of T.Rex’s “Cosmic Dancer,” featuring a captivating violin solo by Warren Ellis.
