D4vd, also known as David Anthony Burke, is currently undergoing a week-long preliminary hearing to determine the strength of the evidence against him in relation to charges of first-degree murder and other crimes. The 21-year-old Romantic Homicide singer was accused of killing Celeste Rivas, allegedly due to her threats to expose their illegal relationship and jeopardize his music career.
