The death of a doctor undergoing a Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) in Siak Regency, Riau, has attracted attention.
Doctor AKL or Alex (30), an anesthesia resident at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau, was found dead in the bushes next to RSUD Tengku Rafian Siak on Tuesday (14/7/2026).
The doctor from Maluku was known to have only been assigned to RSUD Tengku Rafian Siak for about a week.
Previously, on Monday evening, the victim was reported missing.
His wife then tried to find him, assisted by fellow medical personnel, family members, and hospital security personnel.
After searching in several locations around the hospital, the victim was finally found on Tuesday afternoon in a lifeless condition.
