Layered security measures were observed in place at the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office Building (Kejagung) of the Republic of Indonesia, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday (10/7/2026) around 12.00 PM WIB.
Several Indonesian National Army (TNI) personnel in full uniform along with tactical combat vehicles were deployed to tightly guard the headquarters of the Adhyaksa Corps from the outer area to the inner part of the complex.
This step follows the searches in 13 locations related to alleged corruption in PLN, Asabri, and Krakatau Steel.
Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes Febrie Adriansyah denied any involvement in relation to the money found in his private residence.
Febrie stated that the money in the safe at his house belongs to someone and can be accounted for.
Meanwhile, Security at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, was also tightened on Friday (10/7/2026).
Dozens of tactical vehicles belonging to the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) were placed on standby as part of the security measures for the investigation of several cases of alleged corruption being handled.
Based on observations at the location, several tactical vehicles were seen parked in the headquarters area and still in a state of readiness.
These vehicles consisted of one Todak armored vehicle, one Barracuda unit, four Rimueng units, four crowd control vehicles known as Raisa, one water cannon, four trucks, seven buses, and dozens of Brimob service motorcycles.
In addition to the tactical vehicles, dozens of Brimob personnel were also seen on guard at several points in the area of the Jakarta Police Headquarters.
Even platoon tents were set up at the exit gate area of the headquarters as part of the security preparedness.
The tightening of security measures was carried out in line with the investigation of three cases of alleged corruption being handled by the police, namely the cases of corruption in the management of coal-fired power plants (PLTU), PT Asabri, and Krakatau Steel.
Previously, several Brimob tactical vehicles were also deployed during searches at several locations, including a shop house on Asem III Street, Cipete.
The Barracuda vehicle was used to transport evidence, including a safe believed to be related to the cases under investigation.
The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Police, Commissioner General Polisi Budi Hermanto, confirmed the tightening of security at the Jakarta Police Headquarters.
According to him, this step was taken because all seized evidence was stored at the Jakarta Police Headquarters, which also serves as the location for examining witnesses.
He explained that security measures were carried out comprehensively, both internally and externally, to ensure that all evidence remains secure during the investigation process.
Budi Hermanto added that the security pattern would return to normal after all stages of the investigation are completed.
